 I
had been in touch with Ed Forchion for a few years by email after
discovering his web site. I was visiting my mom in New Jersey and
decided to join in on one of his "Liberty Bell Demonstrations" in
Philadelphia. When I arrived at the park, I could see Ed,
NJWEEDMAN, from quite a distance away. He was wearing his bright
green marijuana leaf t-shirt.I introduced myself to him and we spoke about our views on bad laws in America. The federal police, who have been following NJWEEDMAN’s demonstrations, were very carefully watching the group of people who were starting to arrive for the 4:20 demonstration. Rather than make it easy for them, we walked to another part of the park and smoked while sitting on a park bench. The feds didn’t even notice that we had moved until it was too late for them to intervene. It was very nostalgic for me to demonstrate with NJWEEDMAN, because I have participated in many demonstrations myself in the past. It reassures me to know that there is someone in America who is still willing to “stick HIS neck out” for MY rights. I have great respect and admiration for this friend who is courageous enough to take on the government, and brave enough to endure their abusive penalties. I can’t thank him enough for his stand, and was proud to join him in his mission for the freedoms of Rastas and all free men. Ron NOODLEMAN Carter
